A Reiki Journey |
My life's journey has taken me down many roads over the first 49 years. Some roads were well-mapped with clear road signs, but there were detours and some very unexpected twists and turns along the way. I was probably content to consider most of the special events of my life as being somewhat coincidental, in some way or another but...maybe there's something else going on.
As of October 2004. I no longer work with my original Reiki instructor. In fact, I have dismissed all the direction, influence and teachings of this initial exposure to Reiki in favor of a more balanced, viable and appropriately real-world based Japanese-based form of Reiki. To that end, I have personally developed a new form of the practice named Usui Rai Ryoho.
Since making this break with the standard form of western Reiki (from the Hawaiian lineage) I have entered a totally dynamic stage of my Reiki practice. As if the universe was waiting for me to awaken, I now have students and find myself totally immersed in the role of teacher. I am grateful for the trust and opportunity to help others that has been given to me.
